Triumphant!
Supermodel Jade Parfitt and TV presenter Nicky Hambleton Jones attended the national final of the triumph inspiration awards 2010 in Brown Thomas Limerick.
Sixteen fashion students from the award-winning Limerick School of Art & Design took part in this prestigious design competition which was judged by Supermodel and Vogue.com Presenter Jade Parfitt, Brown Thomas Lingerie Buyer Mary Mullin, Triumph Product Manager Jane Fenlon-Smith and Sunday Independent Fashion Editor, Constance Harris. Acclaimed TV Personality Nicky Hambleton Jones acted as MC on the evening.
Winner on the night was Suzanne Ferncombe
from Dungarvan with her incredible “If I were a Boy” creation. In
second place was Fiona Nugent from Roscommon with her piece entitled
“Contours” and Clare Silke from Galway won the third prize with her
design “Elizabethan Elegance”.
Suzanne will go on to represent Ireland
at the Triumph Inspiration Awards Global Final in London on September
16th ahead of London Fashion Week.
In London, 27 winning International designs will take centre stage with
their multinational view of shapes and silhouettes presenting to the
jury of internationally renowned experts from the fields of fashion,
