Do I need to set up an account with www.BrownThomas.com ?

Yes. To make a purchase on www.BrownThomas.com you must create an account with Brown Thomas. You must be 18 or over to create an account with us.
When in the on-line store, please click on My Account and follow the instructions to create a new account.
You can then use your email address and password to log onto your account each time you visit the on-line store.
How do I make a purchase on www.BrownThomas.com?

When you are happy with your choice choose the quantity you desire and add it to your cart.
You can remove the item from your cart at any time.
Click proceed to check out
You will then need to sign into your account with you email address and password.
Enter your shipping address. New addresses will be saved to your Address Book and you'll be able to retrieve and reuse this information the next time you order. When you've finished, click Continue to proceed to the next step of the checkout process.
Make sure to include a phone number
You can choose whether to use the address or to choose a different address as the billing address. At this point, you will also have the option to include some special instructions regarding the delivery.
Select the payment method and click Continue to proceed to our secure location and begin the checkout process.
This is the final step of the checkout process. Review the charges and, if you are satisfied, enter your payment information in the form provided. When you are finished, click Complete Order.
You will then receive an email from us confirming that your order has been received. This email will include the order purchase number. This email is not an order confirmation or acceptance.
Should an issue arise with fullfillment of your order we will contact you immediately.
The order is only accepted and the contract completed when the goods are dispatched. Orders may not be accepted in certain circumstances e.g. the goods are unavailable or we cannot obtain credit card authorisation.
An email will be sent to you confirming dispatch of order.

We accept MasterCard including the Brown Thomas MasterCard and Visa. Your card will be charged on receipt of your purchase order.

If you wish to cancel your order prior to dispatch please email us at btcustserv@brownthomas.ie quoting the order purchase number. If the goods have already been dispatched you can still return them within 14 days as set out below.

Gifts will be delivered to the delivery address stated on the order.
How soon will I receive my goods?

If orders are placed before 12 noon GMT:
For deliveries within Ireland, goods will be delivered within 4 working days
For deliveries in the UK, goods will be delivered within 5 working days
For deliveries within Europe, goods will be delivered within 5-10 working days
For deliveries to USA, goods will be delivered within 10-15* working days
For the rest of the world, goods will be delivered within 10-20* working days

Can I return items?

If you are not delighted with your purchase, you can return the item in it’s original saleable condition within 14 days, complete with a *GIFT RECEIPT for a full refund, by sending it back or returning it to any Brown Thomas Store, Dublin, Cork, Limerick or Galway. Refunds will be made in the form of a Brown Thomas Gift Card matching the value on the GIFT RECEIPT.
All other purchases will be refunded against the original tender.
* GIFT RECEIPT – Will be issued with each purchase and represents your proof of purchase.

All prices shown are quoted in euro inclusive of VAT. Please note that any local import duty payable on goods shipped abroad is the responsibility of the recipient.
