  • We recommend washing this item separately before first use. Turn inside out before placing in washing machine. Use a mild detergent, wait until fully diluted in the water before placing inside. Use the amount recommended by the detergent. A detergent free from Optical Brightening Agents (OBAs) is recommended; they may weaken and discolour certain fabric fibres. A eucalyptus based detergent (e.g. wool wash) is recommended. Use a gentle machine wash at 40 degrees to remove dirt, natural body oils and detergent residues from fabric. The gentle wash protects fibres. Fabric softener is not necessary. Clean stains as quickly as possible. Gently soak, wash or blot the stain, repeat until optimum results are obtained. Do not scrub. Avoid bringing the fabric in contact with bleach or benzoyl peroxide, as it will permanently stain/discolour. For optimum drying results, machine dry for 10-12 minutes on medium heat before air drying. When drying in the dryer, use smaller loads for even drying. Tumble dry for no longer than 20 minutes on low or medium heat setting. Remove from dryer while slightly damp. Spread item out on bed or hang over a railing or shower curtain rod to finish air-drying. Avoid drying in direct sun. To prevent dampness and mildew, ensure item is completely dry before storing. If ironing, use your iron on a warm setting and iron on the reverse side if there is a print or design. Avoid studs, buttons or decorative panels. This item can be dry cleaned.
