How do I know when it's right?

Top Tips For Hands-On Texturing

Pitcher Steadiness

- Hold steam wand at 3 o’clock with wand tip below the milk surface.
- Listen for the hissing sound as milk flows past the wand tip, just breaking into the milk surface and drawing in air to create texture.
- Keep the jug in this position until you’ve created enough texture.
- Continue the whirlpool until you reach the desired temperature.

Ideal Temperature

- The best way to know if your milk is the right temperature is to touch the side of your pitcher while steaming.
- If it is too hot to touch, the milk will be too hot to use.
