When you think of Vitamix, what is the first thing that comes to mind? Generally, the answer is smoothie, but think again! The Vitamix is a super versatile tool that can assist in your everyday meal and beverage preparation, taking you from breakfast to cocktail hour.
Courtesy of Vitamix, we want to show you how to do this in the comfort of your own home. Let’s start with homemade almond butter for a vegan-friendly, nutritious breakfast. Finish the day out with a delicious Frosé or frozen rosé recipe.
BREAKFAST
Homemade Almond Butter
-
Ingredients:
- - 4 cups unsalted roasted almonds
- - ¼ cup oil
- Add almonds to the container, followed by the oil, and secure the lid.
- Start at Variable 1 and slowly increase to the machine’s highest speed.
- Use the tamper to press ingredients toward the blades. Don’t worry – as long as the lid is secure the tamper can’t touch the blades. Blend for 1 minute. (Stop sooner if you want a chunky texture).
COCKTAIL HOUR

- Place all ingredients into the Vitamax container and secure lid.
- Select Variable 1 or the puree setting.
- Start the machine. Slowly increase to its highest speed, and blend for 35 seconds or start the machine and allow the Puree program to complete.

- Freeze for 4 hours, or overnight.
- Use a fork to scrape the frozen mixture into the Vitamix container. Select Variable 5 and start the machine. Blend for 6-8 seconds or until slushy. Serve immediately.
