Description: The scent of a rose bush in full bloom, petals pearled with dew. Hearts blossom like flowers, swallows symbolise freedom. A red banner bears a tender declaration, a play on the language of love. For Valentine’s Day, Diptyque invited artist Constantin Riant to create a motif that expresses the language of love in his own distinctive hand, dreamed up just for the occasion. Known for his ceramics, Riant paints in a signature deep blue that recalls porcelain and Toile de Jouy.

How to Use:
- Light the candle. During the first burn, make sure to let the candle burn until a uniform pool of melted wax has formed.
- Snuff out the flame: use a snuffer to avoid splashing hot wax.
- Re-center the wick once the candle is out.
- Before relighting your candle, use a wick trimmer to trim the wick (ideal length: 3 to 5 mm) to avoid risk of fire.
