1. Cult of the Creative

Having taken over the helm from Tomas Maier, Bottega Veneta’s new creative director, Daniel Lee, is a former director of ready-to-wear at Céline under Phoebe Philo, and previously worked at both Balenciaga and Maison Margiela, so that should tell you all you need to know about this young designer’s fashion chops. Lee has wasted no time in refining the Bottega colour palette and silhouette – neutral tones and boyishly feminine shapes have been a big part of the fashion and accessory house’s narrative over the last year, and everyone from fashion editors and buyers to influencers can’t get enough.

2. The IT Bag

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s best friend this summer was a small, slouchy, leather bag and became an instant Insta-classic. The model barely left the house without her Bottega Veneta Pouch Bag this season, driving the internet wild for the small-but-perfect accessory. This overnight It bag became, without doubt, the biggest accessory hit of the year, and now available in a selection of luxe leather hues, continues to stay firmly within the grasps of fashion’s most en point superstars as the must-have clutch to covet.

3. Into The Weave

Adding to its growing arsenal of waiting-list-worthy accessories, Lee’s reimagined take on the label’s Intrecciato weave bag has also been deemed wardrobe royalty this year. At first glance, this clutch looks simple, clean and minimalist but up close, its’ intricately laced strips reveal a beautiful piece of design that looks as exquisite with trainers and a sweatshirt as it does with a cocktail dress. This bag is here to stay.

I am very much into Daniel Lee’s work for Bottega Veneta, I’d love to add everything from his collection to my wardrobe as it’s very chic and effortless.

4. Streets Ahead

Looking to the most recently papped, snapped and photographed street-stylers is always an insight into what women want, and want to wear. Looking to those who wore it best this season, everyone from the aforementioned Rosie Huntington-Whiteley to Susie Bubble and influencers Jiyoung Kim and Pernille Teisbaek stepped out in Bottega’s hotter than hot square-toed sandals.
