The 2024 Met Gala took place at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art on May 6, 2024. This year's theme: 'Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion', embraced 'The Garden Of Time' as its dress code, showcasing home-grown Irish talent in full bloom. Ariana Grande arrived in a bespoke LOEWE ensemble, featuring a mother-of-pearl bustier with a hand-painted multi-layered silk chiffon skirt, by Irish designer Jonathan Anderson.
Lana Del Rey
Lana Del Rey stunned in a custom design by Alexander McQueen’s Seán McGirr. A gorgeous, silk corset dress, all hand-embroidered with hammered bronze bullion hawthorn. The striking look, references an iconic Alexander McQueen collection.
Usher
Usher bloomed in bespoke Alexander McQueen designed by Seán McGirr. The look featured a custom-made cape with black dipped rose appliqué detail, a tuxedo jacket and trousers in black with all-over jet stone embroidery.
Ayo Edebiri
LOEWE's Irish designer, Jonathan Anderson dressed Ayo Edebiri to perfection in a halter-neck dress adorned with hand-painted, and embroidered floral guipure lace and embellished with 3D appliqué flowers to create the illusion of blossoming.
