  • Remove any foil covering your cork and check the bottle's neck and rim are free from chips and cracks. Hold the bottle on a solid, level surface when opening it. Beware of the sharp tip of the corkscrew. Make sure the corkscrew is always seated squarely on the neck of the bottle before opening
