SOFT PINK

The fashion runways are awash with neon and hot pink this season, whilst in the interiors world, pink is taking a more muted approach. Think candy floss hues, blush tones and peachy pastels. Flesh toned pinks are perfect for creating a relaxing bedroom. Add deeper hues of coral pink and terrocotta for a crisp clean look.

COMFORT WITH A CONSCIENCE

The global average water footprint of Cotton is 10,000 – 20,000 litres (depending on where it’s grown) to produce just 1 kg of cotton. Not to mention the use of fertilisers that pollute water supplies and the harsh labour practices cotton farmers often face. And although the fabric makes for breathable bedding, it can be costly in terms of the impact on the planet. Luckily, there’s a new wave of bedding brands incorporating sustainable practices into the production of their bedding; sourcing organic cotton rather than conventional and/or ensuring their products are made in more environmentally responsible facilities.
