At The Light Salon, we believe the act of skincare is self-care. While not a typical skincare product, our lightweight Antiviral Mask & cleansing tonic is our answer to multiple stressors. This face covering is not only a shield to help protect from an array of airborne diseases, but it won’t interfere with the skin’s natural bacterial flora. Ultimately meaning, that maskne won’t be an impending issue.

Made from organic bamboo viscose and coated with polygenie, a mix of titanium dioxide and silver chloride, this antimicrobial and antiviral technology has been tested against Influenza A, BirdFlu, Norovirus, and Sars over the years, and in all cases, have achieved 99% levels of reduction. The technology also prevents the growth of microorganisms in fibres, such as bacteria, fungi, and parasites, maintaining a cleaner fabric for longer. The mask maintains 99% antiviral protection when first worn and 80% plus after 15 handwashes.

• The key ingredient in our Boost Cleanse & Recovery Spray is Hypochlorous, an ultrapure solution that penetrates the cell walls of any pathogen. Due to its gentle but incredibly effective oxidising method of action, it achieves high levels of protection against bacteria and infection, without causing any harm to the skin itself. And because it helps to balance the complexion, it supports overall skin health, tackles blemishes and inflammation, controls oil, maintains moisture, and is a fantastic remedy for irritation post-shaving.
