SERAX Wind & Fire Vase H27 Cm Blue / Amber

Designed by Marie Michielssen, this aptly named range of vases reminds us that glass is produced with flames and mouth blowing. Beautifully crafted by expert glass blowers, the large and heavy vases are extremely difficult to make. This is the first time Marie has used glass as a medium and wanted the vases to resemble old pharmacy pots with their oversized flat lips, using natural and earthy hues. Here the transition between the distinctive blue and cognac colours represent the transition between sea and sand. A further reference to making glass, as both sand and water are essential in glass construction
