Zoë Taylor’s Step-by-Step
Inspired by the floral realm, Les Fleurs de CHANEL brings fresh tones and varied textures to the brand's annual Spring/Summer makeup collection. CHANEL Makeup Artist Zoë Taylor shares her tips and tricks to create a bold springtime look in an exclusive tutorial.
Step 1: Complexion
Prep the skin with Hydra Beauty Camellia Water Cream, followed by Les Beiges Healthy Glow Foundation to create a glowy base for your look.
Step 2: Eyes
Starting with the matte terracotta shade in the Bouquet Ambré Les 4 Ombres Eyeshadow Palette, buff the colour onto the outer edge of the lid with a fluffy brush, focussing on the last quarter of the lid and socket. Gradually bring the colour across the entire socket to create a smoked-out look. With what is left on the brush, sweep up into the temples.
Step 3: Deepen
Using the brown shade flecked with gold in the eyeshadow palette, blend into the eye socket. With a small, flat brush, sweep a tiny bit of the terracotta colour over the lower lash line to define the eyes. To create an even richer colour on the eye, take a bit of colour from the bullet of Rouge Allure Velvet Extrême in 136 Éclosion onto a soft full brush, then blend over the lid, concentrating on the socket. Using the same small, flat brush, apply the lipstick colour along the lower lashes.
Step 4: Enhance
Dip a flat brush into water and then onto the rose gold shadow shade in the eyeshadow palette to create a molten texture. Start by applying the colour onto the centre of the lid. If you have lots of lid space, leave the colour in the centre of the eyelid. If you don't, take the colour over the entire lid and soften the edges with a dry brush. Add a bit of the same creamy metallic colour in the centre of the lower lid.
Step 5: Line
To elongate the eye and make lashes look thicker, draw the Boy de CHANEL 3-in-1 Eye Pencil* in black onto the last third outer corner of the upper lid. Keep this line thin and soften with a small brush to get rid of any hard lines.

Step 6: Lashes
Use Le Volume Stretch de CHANEL Mascara to create thick, black lashes. Build the product up at the base of the lashes on both the top and the bottom.
Step 7: Brighten
Use the final, lightest shade in the Bouquet Ambré Les 4 Ombres Eyeshadow Palette to add some light to the inner corners of the eye.
Step 8: Blush
Apply the blusher in Exclusive Creation Fleurs De Printemps over the cheeks and up on to the temples. To make the skin look lit from within, dust the highlight on top of the blush.
Step 9: Lips
To create a soft, stain-like effect, apply Rouge Allure Velvet Extrême in 136 Éclosion to the lips using a small, fluffy brush. Top with high-shine Rouge Allure Laque in 77 Dark Blossom.
Step 10: Glow
To complete the look, tap Baume Essentiel in Transparent onto the cheekbones, over the bridge of the nose and over the chin to bring the look to life.
