AT HOME WITH GANNI

We caught up with Ditte Reffstrup, founder of Ganni, to find out how this scandi-cool girl is navigating our new reality. See her Work From Home wardrobe tips (as demonstrated by team Ganni), what she’s streaming and scrolling and where her first visit will be when this is all over…

DITTE’S WORK FROM HOME STYLE TIPS

DRESS FROM THE WAIST UP

“I’m all about dressing from the waist up these days. I’ve been bringing some big collar energy to my video calls by working different versions of our oversized collared shirts, balloon sleeve tops and anything with an interesting neckline.”

KEEP MOTIVATED

“Dress up in whatever makes you feel good and confident. I’ve been cracking out some of my favourite outfits. Now is the time to experiment with your style!”

ALL ABOUT COMFORT

“I dress in whatever makes me feel comfortable in my own skin. That could be sweatpants one day or a silk zebra print dress the next.”

Josefine has her Friday Houseparty drinks outfit sorted in the Zebra Print Maxi Skirt.

How do you unwind at home after work?

In absence of her monthly facial, Ditte says she’s sticking more rigidly to her nightly skincare routine to make it feel more like an at-home spa moment. When it comes to letting off some steam Ditte admits, “I’m loving Houseparty to keep in touch with my team and friends!”

1990s fashion inspiration from Leon.

What Are You Streaming And Scrolling These Days?

“I’m rewatching all my go-to films like my favourite Leon and getting time to binge the things I’d missed like My Brilliant Friend." When asked what are her most used social media accounts on her phone, Ditte looks to some local creatives and friends, “I’m loving the wonderful new single from Jeuru (@jeuru) and if you want to know how to knit with things around the house check out our livestream with artist Hayley Blomquist (@hayley.blomquist).” She goes on to say that now is the time to have a chef as a friend for some recipe inspiration on your newsfeed, in reference to her good friend Frederik Bille Brahe (@frederikbillebrahe), Ditte says “I’m trying to recreate some of the amazing recipes that I miss so much! I had a swing at his banana bread the other day.”

The Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, Humlebæk.

Where can you not wait to visit when this is all over?

Ditte chooses the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, “it is hands down one of my favourite museums. The architecture is pure beauty, so light and natural in how it blends in with the waterside surroundings by the coast north of Copenhagen. The glass walls give amazing views and the art is of course also in a league of its own. I always come home inspired.” Another local haunt top of her list is the restaurant Hos Fisher. Ditte describes “a charming little Italian restaurant in which to have a long, wine filled dinner with friends.”
