SEPTEMBER COATS

30 days hath September and a whole season of coats to choose from. It’s time to try the trends. We love Prada's black belted beauty which taps into the Purist trend, Barbour x Alexa Chung's take on the classic wax jacket which is the perfect inbetweeener and Stella McCartney's single breasted Prince of Wales check coat, an investment so sustainable it will be a future classic for the next generation.

SEPTEMBER STYLING: It’s not cold enough yet for boots but layer a trench, Barbour, or check coat effortlessly over a t-shirt and jeans styled with trainers or heels.

OCTOBER COATS

It’s October the leaves are beginning to fall and a chill is coming to the air. Layer up in deep autumnal hues from Alexander McQueen’s glossy red leather coat, Chloé’s vintage-inspired 1970s shearling, Stella’s fun faux fur and Bottega Veneta’s incredibly chic snakeskin jacket.

NOVEMBER COATS

November’s plummeting temperatures and inclement weather are no excuse for letting your sartorial standards slip. This season the puffa coat is not just cosy but cool, add Prada’s classic black puffa to your wardrobe for instant attitude. While Max Mara are the perennially chic option with their teddy coat updated in winter white and cobalt blue. The new kid on the block is Nicole Benisti whose metallic shearling jackets and coats will be the pièce de résistance of your winter wardrobe.

NOVEMBER STYLING: The catwalk worked layering in myriad ways, with the coat being the final layer but don't be afraid to add tailored jackets under oversized coats and complete the look with a snakeskin bag and boots from Bottega Veneta or Paris Texas.
