“For me, beauty that feeling of being completely yourself.” - Liath Hannon

Liath Hannon - Model And Actress

For emerging Irish model and actor Liath Hannon, beauty is an integral part in helping her transform into characters in front of the camera, and forms an important role in her self-expression. With influences stemming from art nouveau and Alfred Hitchcock's iconic filmography; Liath shares the connection she feels between art, culture, and the power of beauty in the everyday.

Make-up is huge in terms of self-expression as a model. It’s how you show who you’re inspired by. Who you want to be and also what makes you who you are. It’s how you can set yourself a part and I think that’s a huge way of understanding who somebody is as a person. Beauty really takes you to that other space. It shows you in a way that nothing else can. It’s very powerful.

To me, beauty is definitely a combination of the external and the internal.

Loah - Folk-Soul Singer Songwriter

Loah Sallay Matu Garnett, is a folk-soul singer songwriter and performer who grew up between Maynooth, Co. Kildare and West Africa. Starring as Mary Magdalene in Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s iconic Jesus Christ Superstar at the Barbican and co-writing with Hozier, Loah is a rising Irish star.

I feel like I’m on a quest to be as beautiful a person as possible and be kinder and more patient and more peaceful in myself. Sometimes when I feel the most beautiful is when I feel like I’ve done my best for someone else or for myself.
