  • Manufacturer Information Booklet Field of Use: These sunglasses protect against the risk of eye injuries due to exposure to sunlight (other than during direct observation of the sun). These sunglasses comply with the requirements of EN ISO 12312-1:2022 and its provisions and meet the essential health and safety requirements defined by Regulation (EU) 2016/425 as well as the UK version of Regulation 2016/425 on Personal Protective Equipment as amended and applicable in Great Britain. These sunglasses are: Not suitable for the direct observation of the sun or viewing of solar eclipses. Not designed to protect against artificial radiation sources (e.g. solaria). Not suitable for eye protection against mechanical impact hazards (in the event of such an impact the sunglasses may break and cause injuries to the eyes and face). Not suitable for driving in twilight or at night. If the sunglasses are fitted with photochromic filters these are activated based on temperature and light conditions. Cleaning: For cleaning use a damp cloth and a mild neutral detergent. Dry with a soft clean cloth. Avoid using solvents such as alcohol or acetone and aggressive chemical cleaners that could affect the functionality of the eyewear. Maintenance and Storage: When not in use or during transport sunglasses should be stored in their case at temperatures between -10°C and +35°C. Avoid exposure to sunlight in enclosed non-air-conditioned environments (e.g. car dashboard) as high temperatures in these conditions may damage the sunglasses and affect their performance. Worn-out components such as scratched or opaque filters or temples must be replaced by a qualified optician using original spare parts. Use only original accessories and spare parts. Marking: The model identifier is marked on the inside of the temple. The filter category is shown on the barcode label on the product packaging and on the inside of the temple indicated after an asterisk (*). If two numbers are shown this indicates that the lens is photochromic; the two numbers represent the filter category in its clear and darkened states respectively. The letter ‘P’ indicates that the lens is polarized. If the sunglasses are designed for interchangeable lenses each lens will be marked with its filter category. If a clip-on is provided the filter category for the assembled device is marked on the clip-on and preceded by an asterisk. The date of production is indicated on the packaging label in the format Year-Month. The serial number is marked on the label with the symbol “SN”. An anti-counterfeiting code is printed on the inside of the right or left temple. Not suitable for road use or driving. Disposal Method: Sunglasses can be disposed of as household waste together with packaging and case in accordance with current legislation. They must not be disposed of in the environment.
