El Recio translates as ‘the tough guy’, and this wine lives up to its name. A mature wine made from the product of some of Toro’s oldest vines, it spends 14 months in French oak which provides opulence and depth. This intense wine boasts notes of black fruit, chocolate, roasted coffee bean and vanilla pod aromas. Firm in structure, it is held together by silky tannins.
