Aveen's predictions for the season ahead...
"The overarching trend we are seeing this season is a shift towards wide-leg, oversized silhouettes. Slouchy jeans give a laid-back feel to any outfit but pair nicely with more feminine tops for an androgynous contrast. Barrel-leg shapes are also a nice update to this wide leg trend and an easy way to dip your toe in."
The Straight Leg
Agolde
Let's start with a simple and vintage-inspired, classic straight leg jean that effortlessly pairs with everything. And there’s no better brand to turn to for vintage ’90s-inspired jeans than Agolde: "These 90s Pinch Waist Straight Leg Jeans from Agolde have reigned supreme for many seasons and are a key staple for any wardrobe," shares Aveen. And as for how she'd style them? "They look good with almost anything, but I would go full Canadian Tuxedo and style them with this JW Anderson denim jacket and a t-shirt from SKIMS," she says.

If you’re not quite ready to embrace wider leg styles, Aveen suggests slim leg silhouettes offer the perfect alternative. Aveen recommends the "Roxanne Mid Rise Slim Leg jeans as a fresh take on skinny jeans, with the dark wash being ideal for a more formal or evening look." She suggests pairing them with "a blouse from Victoria Beckham and a classic black blazer from Rohe to throw over your shoulders. Complete the look with the Sardine bag from Bottega and pumps from Jimmy Choo."
