LE LABO HAS JUST LAUNCHED 14 NEW SCENTS

As the famous saying goes “some things in life are worth waiting for” and nowhere is this more apt than the return of the annual Le Labo City Exclusive event taking place this month.

If you’re a long-standing admirer of the brand, you’ll be aware of this cult collection; a 14-piece range of fragrances crafted with a particular city in mind. There’s Vanille 44 for Paris, Gaiac 10 for Tokyo, Musc 25 for Los Angeles, Mousse De Chene 30 for Amsterdam, Tabac 28 for Miami, Citron 28 for Seoul and Cedrat 37 for Berlin - amongst many others. The catch of course is, that these scents are strictly available only in the city they were made for. So if you wanted to replenish your stock of Gaiac 10, you would need to catch a flight to Tokyo.

However, the good news is that once a year, for one month only, Le Labo allow these perfumes to go globe-trotting meaning from September 1 to September 30, the City Exclusives collection will be available at Le Labo counters at Brown Thomas Grafton Street and Brown Thomas Cork.

CITRON 28 - SEOUL

Inspired by the South Koreanen capitol city, Citron 28 is a twist on the classic lemon scent and conveys a combination of freshness and structure that mirrors Seoul.

MOUSSE DE CHENE 30 - AMSTERDAM

Just like the city it’s dedicated to, Mousse De Chene 30 is both traditional and progressive. Top notes include moss, patchouli, cinnamon, crystal moss, clearwood and pink pepper.

TUBEREUSE 40 - NEW YORK

As the name would suggest, this perfume features Tubereuse but what hits you at first spritz is a wave of bergamot and tangerine. The scent that never sleeps.

CEDRAT 37 - BERLIN

Embracing joy and freedom as one does visiting Berlin, Cedrat 37 rests on a foundation of “Le-Labo-ness” (read: woods, musks and ambergris). Balanced further with cedrat and ginger.

BAIE ROSE 26 - CHICAGO

Home to the legendary jazz scene, Baie Rose 26 encapsulates just that. Featuring sharp pepper to represent the more upbeat sounds of jazz, this is an uplifting scent.

GAIAC 10 - TOKYO

Guaiac is a greenish wood that isn’t as dry as cedar - but is as subtle, profound, and stable. One spritz and you’ll fall in love with this new scent.
