The precious saffron flowers in YSL OR ROUGE L’HUILE are harvested by hand in the heights of the Atlas Mountains in the YSL Ourika Gardens. The pistils of Saffron are then delicately extracted from the heart of the flower and carefully dried, before being stored in airtight and lightproof glass jars, ready to be used as an exceptional ingredient.
