THE RULES
Michelle says: “What I have been found over the last number of years is that the rules for wedding dressing has changed. Mothers of the bride are now wearing white, brides are wearing suits and bridesmaids are in everything from black to white. With these changes in mind, my advice is to gauge your wedding guest look to a specific wedding as couples are now making up their own rules.”
THE TIPS
Do: “Pick something that excites you, dressing for a wedding should be a joy and not a chore. Also go for something that ‘feels’ like you!”
Don’t: “Be afraid of prints they are clever devices for concealing areas you don’t want on show and also don’t be too worried about how you will look in the photos, in the age of social media there will be so many photos to choose from on the big day.”

Michelle says: “Dressing for the races does have some set rules. For specific meets do follow these especially if you are headed to Royal Ascot.”

Do: “Opt for a jacket, sometimes it can be chilly outdoors at the races and thinking about how you will layer your look needs to be done in advance ensure to you have a streamlined look.”
Don’t: “Wear uncomfortable shoes, this season the kitten heel and sling-back has offered an amazingly chic alternative to towering heels, Prada, L.K.Bennett and Jimmy Choo have incredible styles to choose from here.”
