What’s in store for Autumn Winter 19?

Smart tailoring is on everyone's mind after fashion month. Particularly noteworthy were loose leg trousers with flowing silhouettes combined with high waists. Glamorous, feminine fashion for real women was everywhere with skirts continuing to be a staple. Stronger shoulders seen in blazers and outerwear, finished in checks, tweeds and rich, luxurious fabrics were a move on from the more relaxed proportions of Spring.

The Standout Shows

Opening with a tribute to Karl Lagerfeld, Maria Grazia Chiuri for Dior reminded us of the designers behind the houses with power and independence underlining her collection. This inspiration was mirrored by Victoria Beckham. Set in the iconic Tate Britain Gallery, this show was a standout with the use of bold colourways offset by style and structure.
